The juniors in Advanced Math are finishing their study of the graphs of trigonometric functions. As they conclude this unit, they are writing and graphing equations using real-world data including sound waves and fluctuation of temperature. We will also use the statistics features of our TI-84 calculators to determine if data resembles a trigonometric curve and have the calculator write the sinusoidal equation that best fits the data.
